Due to the wars we found a sad decline in the use of made to measure hats, they juts weren’t practical around these times.

Then came the 50’s and 60’s which saw hairstyle fashion that made it impossible to fit a fit on as well. However Queen Elizabeth has always kept the style alive.

There were very few styles of hats that were used. It wasn’t until the 1980’s when they started to drift back into the fashion world. With style icons in the 1980’s such as Lady Diana.

Today we are seeing many many hats hitting the high street, from casual to smart. You are also finding ladies venturing into a more male style trilby.
