MARCH MEET THE MAKER

Hello I'm Jayne, thank you for checking my BLOG! I am the founder of Jayne Elizabeth Millinery, and this month I took part in "‘March Meet the Maker.’

I’m definitely a Queen of Accessories, and obviously completely obsessed with all things millinery! I have been passionate about fashion, vintage clothing, art and ultimately creativity for as long as I can remember.

The speciality of my business lies with designing and creating exquististely made head pieces and hats. Each creation is entirely made by hand here in my Oxfordshire studio. Couture millinery requires a great deal patience and is very labour intensive. Some of my more elaborate hats and head pieces can take several days to design and make!

Millinery offers so much versatailty, from a delicate hair accessory for a bride to wear on her wedding day, to an Avant Garde head piece for a photo shoot or catwalk show.

I love meeting people from all walks of life, and getting to know their individual style and personality. A hat should make a client feel wonderful and confident.
